ICOE2010
3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Ocean Energy. 6-8 October 2010, Bilbao, Spain.
Bilbao will host the third International Conference on Ocean Energy ICOE2010 organised by EVE (the Basque Energy Board) and TECNALIA, with the partnership of the European Ocean Energy Association and the Implementing Agreement on Ocean Energy Systems of the International Energy Agency.

This meeting will be hosted by New Zealand in conjunction with the 4th Annual Conference of the Aotearoa Wave and Tidal Energy Association on 19 - 20 April - Past ExCo meeting
17th ExCo Meeting, Oslo, Norway, 4-5 September 2009
This meeting was hosted by Statkraft, Norway. It included a visit to the Osmotic power plant.

Dr John Huckerby from New Zealand was elected Chair for 2009-2010. Mr Jochen Bard from Germany and Mr José Luis villate from Spain were elected Vice-Chairs for the same period.
- New Members
Republic of Korea and South Africa joined the OES-IA in January 2010
The participation of Republic of Korea in the OES-IA became effective as of 15 January 2010 and the participation of South Africa became effective as of 19 January 2010.
